Underground wiring
These single loop cable pulling socks are specially designed for underground wiring.
Handcrafted with very flexible 19-strand yarn, they retain their flexibility even under high tension. Galvanized steel (also available in stainless steel).
The crimped sleeve is chamfered in the direction of the pull to avoid snagging in the pipes.
The ends of the wires are neither soldered nor crimped, but braided back to avoid injuring the operator or damaging the cable.
The tensile force is equal to the breaking force reduced by a safety factor of 2.
To insert or remove the cable: compress the sock to expand it.
Once the cable is in the sock: the more you pull, the more the sock tightens.
These models are available from stock.
Cable pullers should be checked before use as damage may affect their strength.
